Basic Nitrox
The IANTD basic Nitrox course is designed to teach the diver the initial concepts of diving with a Nitrox or EANx mixture.
Course Content
This course consists of one day theory. An optional days diving is also available. Theory is normally held at one of the Scuba & Outdoor Pursuits Facilities.

Prerequisites
This course is open to all qualified divers, with a minimum age of 18 (or 15 with parent or guardian consent)
Equipment Requirements
If the optional dives are not completed, no special equipment is requyired for this course
Qualification
Upon completion of the course and passing the written exam, the IANTD diver card will be issued. This qualifies the diver to use mixes of 21% to a maximum of 40% oxygen between the 12 to 39 msw depth range.
